Jay Electric covers Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, parts of Tennessee and the Florida panhandle from electric motor shops located throughout the market area. While Jay Electric started operations in 1984, its electric motor repair shops actually began much earlier as independent companies. For example, Jay-Montgomery began as Standard Electric in the mid 1920's.

At each location Jay Electric has the facility, equipment, management and trained personnel to handle the majority of the electric motor management needs of its local customers and to respond 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, without support from other Jay Electric locations. However, we are a family of electric motor shops and we do support each other with personnel and with certain capabilities that are unique to a particular location.
